Seasonal Pumpkin Coffee Creamer: Speciality Coffee for Christmas

Just like any festive occasion, coffee brings family and friends together and encourages enjoyable conversations. A cup of speciality coffee, including a drop of alcohol, is the perfect way for each adult at your Christmas table to conclude one of the most important meals of the year.

Why not infuse the other cups of coffee you drink this Christmas with a seasonal taste too? Simply use this sweet, spiced pumpkin creamer as a substitute for milk or cream.

This recipe makes four servings and is the perfect partner for full-bodied French press or pour over coffee. The amount of alcohol specified in each list of ingredients is equivalent to four small shots. Keeping that in mind will help you and your guests to monitor your alcohol intake.

Step by Step
  • Add the cream, puree, maple syrup and spice mix to a saucepan. Over a medium heat on your hob, gently whisk the ingredients.
  • Place the cinnamon stick in the pan and turn up the heat slightly. While whisking the mixture occasionally, bring it to the boil. After boiling for a minute, remove the pan from the hob and let the creamer stand for several minutes.
  • Carefully remove the cinnamon stick then serve the creamer with the coffee, ideally in stylish Bistro mugs.
  • Time to enjoy! All of us here at Bodum wish you a happy – and tasty – Christmas!
